The hotel met requirements. It was fairly clean place, staff were welcoming, and I truly enjoyed my airy room. I was offered a room with delightful views out over the fields and hills. The location was good, very close to fields and restaurant and easily accessible.

The noise from the outside and the muddy parking could use improvement. Great for families looking to explore the area, as it's well-situated for local attractions.

We had a lovely stay, enjoying tasty English breakfasts and cozy rooms with nice decor. The garden area was perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea and the kids loved playing in the meadows. The only thing was that the beds were a bit softer than I prefer, but it didn't take away from our great experience! 😊

Chancery house is a real gem. Alan, the host, is super friendly and makes u feel right at home. The location is so quiet n peaceful. There r amazing views of the lush devon fields. Breakfast was delish and made fresh, with loads of options. My room was comfy and clean, had everything i needed for a chill stay.
Only thing i didn't like was that i needed to check in later than id hoped. The shower could've been a bit better in pressure.

The atmosphere was perfect for our group. The staff were friendly and really helpful, giving us great tips for our adventures. Definitely recommend checking out the beautiful gardens and the cozy lounge for some relaxation after a day out.
The only downside was that the Wi-Fi connection was a bit spotty , hard to plan our outings at times.

A Cozy Stay with Room for Improvement
The family room was spacious but lacked modern charm. A personal highlight was the warm welcome from Alan, who was attentive. The muddy parking area made it challenging. Tip, Visit in daylight for easier navigation to this remote location.
